Conversion to a paid plan up 28%
What was not working
The free plan was generous enough to live on, and the paid plan was described on a pricing page nobody read. People used the product for months and never considered paying.
What we did
- 01Found the three actions that separate accounts which pay from accounts which do not.
- 02Moved the paid features next to those actions, so the limit is met while the value is obvious.
- 03Rewrote the pricing page around jobs rather than feature lists.
- 04Added an in product prompt that appears once, at the limit, and does not follow the user around.
Services used
Published with written permission from the client, who asked not to be named. That is why the business is described by industry and location rather than by its name, and why every number here carries the system it came from.
