Kick scooter sharing operator, Marseille, France
Collection and logistics costs down 35%
What was not working
Vans drove the whole city every night to collect and recharge scooters, on routes assembled by hand. Fuel and hours grew with the fleet, and some scooters were collected while still earning.
What we did
- 01Scored each scooter by battery, location and how much it earns where it stands.
- 02Built the night route from that score instead of from the map by hand.
- 03Left scooters that still earn and have charge where they are.
- 04Gave the crew the route in order on a phone, with a confirmation at each stop.
